David Icke - The Biggest Secret

The basic conspiracy theory is that the world is controlled by a network of secret societies referred to as the "Brotherhood," at the apex of which stand the "Illuminati" or "Global Elite." The goal of the Brotherhood is a world government, a plan that Icke says was laid out in the anti-semitic hoax, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, which Icke says are really the revealed plans of the Illuminati. Icke, in common with many other conspiracy theorists, says the methods of these conspirators include control of the world's economies and the use of mind-control techniques. ... Secret.pdf

Manly P. Hall - The Secret Teachings of All Ages

Each of the nearly 50 chapters is so dense with information that it is the equivalent of an entire short book. If you read this book in its entirety you will be in a good position to dive into subjects such as the Qabbala, Alchemy, Tarot, Ceremonial Magic, Neo-Platonic Philosophy, Mystery Religions, and the theory of Rosicrucianism and Freemasonry. Although there are some questionable and controversial parts of the book, such as the outdated material on Islam, the portion on the Bacon-Shakespeare hypothesis, and Hall's conspiracy theory of history as driven by an elite cabal of roving immortals, they are farout-weighed by the comprehensive information here on other subjects. ... l_Ages.pdf

E. A. Wallis Budge - Egyptian Magic

A STUDY of the remains of the native religious literature of ancient Egypt which have come down to us has revealed the fact that the belief in magic, that is to say, in the power of magical names, and spells, and enchantments, and formulæ, and pictures, and figures, and amulets, and in the performance of ceremonies accompanied by the utterance of words of power, to produce supernatural results, formed a large and important part of the Egyptian religion. And it is certain that, notwithstanding the continuous progress which the Egyptians made in civilization, and the high intellectual development to which they eventually attained, this belief influenced their minds and, from the earliest to the latest period of their history, shaped their views concerning things temporal as well as spiritual in a manner which, at this stage in the history of the world, is very difficult to understand. ... _Magic.pdf

Graham Hancock - Fingerprints Of The Gods

Fingerprints of the Gods is a book first published in 1995 by Graham Hancock, in which he contends that some previously unidentified ancient but highly-advanced civilization had existed in prehistory, one which served as the common progenitor civilization to all subsequent known ancient historical ones. Supposedly, sometime after the end of the last Ice Age this civilization passed on to its inheritors knowledge of such things as astronomy, architecture and mathematics. The book pivots on three "fingerprints" of these civilizations, evidence of which Hancock finds in the descriptions of civilizing God-Men i.e. Osiris, Thoth, Quetzalcoatl, and Virachocha. These creation myths predate history, and Hancock suggests that in 10,450 B.C., a major poleshift took place, before which Antarctica was further from the South Pole than it is today, and after which it was moved to its present location. This civilization was supposedly centered around Antarctica, and later survivors initiated the Olmec, Aztec, Maya, and Egyptian cultures.
The pole shift theory hinges on Charles Hapgood's theory of Earth Crustal Displacement which has very few supporters in the geological community compared to the more accepted model of plate tectonics. ... e_Gods.pdf

Robert Bruce - Training to See Auras

In parapsychology, spirituality and New Age belief, an aura is a subtle field of luminous multicolored radiation surrounding a person or object as a cocoon or halo. An aura may be held to represent or be composed of soul vibrations or chakras, and may reflect the moods or thoughts of the person it surrounds.
It is believed that auras may be viewed by the naked eye, though some psychics, like Edgar Cayce, believe this ability weakens with age. Focused training may be undergone in an attempt to improve one's ability to see auras. Layers of aura are seen as separate and distinct, yet connected to all of the remaining layers. Auras are also thought of as special kind of shields which certainly have more defensive power. It is very likely that the detection of odic force is a similar phenomenon. ... _Auras.pdf

Francis King - Techniques of High Magick

A complete beginner's guide to understanding and harnessing the mysterious forces of nature.

• Provides tools for self-initiation into the ancient and secret traditions of ceremonial magic.
• Explains various divination systems and how to perform ancient rituals that open the doorway to secret and arcane knowledge.

True magic can be defined as the art and science of using little-known or forgotten natural forces in order to achieve changes in consciousness and the physical environment. It concerns a wide body of doctrines and techniques, including the conjuring of spirits and non-human entities; the manufacture and consecration of wands, swords, talismans, and other tools of the magus; ritual divination; and the exploration of universes other than that with which we are familiar. The masters who taught others these ancient arts are gone, but Techniques of High Magic provides the practical and lucid instruction necessary for self-initiation into these secret traditions.

Emphasizing the ordered nature of the universe and the power of will directed by imagination, Francis King and Stephen Skinner introduce the reader to magical practices, rituals, and instruments that have been used for centuries. They explain systems of divination such as the I Ching, the Tarot, and geomancy, as well as techniques of astral projection and elementary alchemy. Their disciplined approach to magical practice includes easy formulas and diagrams that will help the initiate navigate an ancient and potent universe of gods, angels, and spirits--the world of High Magic. ... It claims to be the work of Hermes Trismegistus ("Hermes the Thrice-Great"), a legendary Egyptian sage or god, variously identified with the Egyptian god Thoth and/or the Greek god Hermes. This short and cryptic text was highly regarded by European alchemists as the foundation of their art, in particular of its Hermetic tradition. Nag Hammadi

The Nag Hammadi Library, a collection of thirteen ancient codices containing over fifty texts, was discovered in upper Egypt in 1945. This immensely important discovery includes a large number of primary Gnostic scriptures -- texts once thought to have been entirely destroyed during the early Christian struggle to define "orthodoxy" -- scriptures such as the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Philip, and the Gospel of Truth.
The discovery and translation of the Nag Hammadi library, completed in the 1970's, has provided impetus to a major re-evaluation of early Christian history and the nature of Gnosticism.

Fra. Barrabbas Tiresius - The Qabbalah of the Magicians

The Qabbalah is an abstruse discipline that has an aura of mystery and arcane complexity, making it a euphemism for something that is nearly impossible to understand and useless to the average person. Since knowledge of the Qabbalah is little known to the general public, it has been the last refuge for con-artists and scoundrels, since few can contradict the words of someone supposedly steeped in its mysterious doctrines. However, nothing could be
farther from the truth - the Qabbalah is actually a very practical system of classifying and understanding the symbolic realm of the Eye of Spirit, and so it acts as a map of the transcendental world of Spirit, thus making it intelligible to the mind. The domain of Spirit is non-dual and trans-egoic, and it is extremely paradoxical when examined by the rational mind. ... bbalah.pdf

Prentiss Tucker - The Lost Key

Symbols play a big part in our lives, but we often take them for granted. To illustrate the meaning of symbols this book uses the example of the American flag, and explains what the symbols found on the flag really mean. The important point is that without an understanding of American history we'd not know how to interpret the symbols on our flag. The same holds true for all symbols. Lacking enough background information causes us, many times, to miss their full meaning.
The Lost Key is a book for Freemasons, and explains the meanings of their symbols. Masons are members of a longstanding fraternal order that functions along the lines of a mystical brotherhood. A number of rituals are performed as one progresses up the ranks, usually in the form of an initiation. Often times Masons themselves do not know what the symbols within these rituals truly mean while they are being performed -- so therefore do not fully understand what they are really doing and the true purpose of the initiation. There are thirty-three degrees, or levels, in Freemasonry. This particular book covers the symbols found within the first three degrees of Freemasonry, making this an excellent guidebook for the beginning Mason, as well as providing a more complete understanding for those in the higher levels who administer or oversee their rituals. In recent years statistics show that Freemasonry has begun to lose some of its members. The older books like The Lost Key have gone out of print and younger Masons may not have fully understood the purpose of their initiations -- at least enough to hold their interest. The symbols found within Freemasonry operate on a number of different levels. Now that The Lost Key has been "found" and is back in print once again, it may help to enrich an organization that traditionally attracts high-standing members of communities across North America and the rest of the world. ... st_Key.pdf

Castells - The Apocalypse of Freemasonry

1943. Interpretation of the symbolism of the Masonic Lodge. Contains considerations of the sources of these symbols. Underlying the ceremonies practiced by the Freemasons of the present day, there is a system of philosophy which is based on the lofty conception of the Most High God as a Being who indwells the Light, and is Himself "light." Those who are in fellowship with Him, enjoy His light, even in the dark. If, therefore, we would grasp the meaning and purpose of what is said and done in the Lodge, we must keep this fundamental thought uppermost in our mind. In His light shall we see light. ... asonry.pdf

Franz Hartmann - Secret Symbols of the Rosicrucians

An excellent source book for this "occult" understanding of Christ can be found in Franz Hartmann's Secret Symbols of the Rosicrucians. The introduction of this book, which contains older plates of alchemical images and diagrams, is peerless. The Rosicrucian Order is a legendary esoteric order with its roots in the western mystery tradition. This hermetic order is viewed among earlier and many modern Rosicrucianists as a "College of Invisibles" from the inner worlds, composed of great Adepts, aiming to give assistance in humanity's spiritual development. The "Brethren of the Rose Cross" is perceived by students of metaphysics as an important part or even the source of the hermetic-Christian tradition of the western alchemy treatises period subsequent to the publication of Dante's The Divine Comedy (1308-1321). ... ucians.pdf

Kenneth Grant - The Magick Revival

Kenneth Grant is a British occultist and head of the Typhonian Ordo Templi Orientis.Grant claims to be the true successor to Aleister Crowley and his order to be the true OTO. He was a great admirer and close friend of Austin Osman Spare and did much to bring his name into western occult society.
Many of his ideas, such as the use of H. P. Lovecraft's mythology, are highly disputed. In his first book Grant takes a more or less straightforward historical approach. He declares that the Thelemic Current as embodied in the sexual Magick of Aleister Crowley is the latest manifestation of what he calls the "Draconian Tradition" of Ancient Egypt. It was this that inspired the Tantric sects of India, and Grant intimates that the ultimate origin of all this lies with a matriarchal pre-Dynastic culture in Africa. Now considering that next to nothing is known about the historical origins of Tantra (scholars can't even determine if Hindu or Buddhist texts are older) Grant's assertions are about as good as anyone's. Unfortunately he offers no real support for all of this; we are apparently required to accept this as the Gospel Utterance of an Initiated Teacher. The book can certainly not be called scholarly; Grant rarely identifies his sources, even for direct quotes, and when he does it is often not helpful. He refers often to an unpublished "Initiated Tantric Comment" as substanciating his theories (which mostly seem to deal with the Magical virtues of vaginal secretions,) but we are given no idea as to its authorship or authority. One long quote, referring as it does to modern Western medical practices, makes it clear that this "Comment" is of recent composition, but I see no reason to regard it as more than a reasonably valid interpretation of Tantric ritual. Grant claims it is the One-True-Recieved-From-On-High doctrine. ... evival.pdf

Graham Hancock - Message of the Sphinx

Is the Sphinx of prehistoric origin? Why was it built? In this provocative, rigorously argued report, revisionist Egyptologists Hancock (The Fingerprints of the Gods) and Bauval (The Orion Mystery) join forces to answer these questions and more as they examine the Sphinx and its relation to the other monuments of the Giza plateau. Working from the premise that the Giza complex encodes a message, they begin with recently discovered geological evidence indicating that the deep erosion patterns on the flanks of the Sphinx were caused by 1000 years of heavy rain. Such conditions last existed in Egypt at the end of the last ice age, about 10,000-9,000 B.C., meaning that the Sphinx may be more than 12,000 years old (not the generally accepted 4500 years). The authors go on to suggest, using computer simulations of the sky, that the pyramids, representing the three stars of Orion's Belt, along with associated causeways and alignments, constitute a record in stone of the celestial array at the vernal equinox in 10,500 B.C. This moment, they contend, represents Zep Tepi, the "First Time," often referred to in the hieroglyphic record. They show how the initiation rituals of the Egyptian pharaohs replicate on Earth the sun's journey through the stars in this remote era, and they suggest that the "Hall of Records" of a lost civilization may be located by treating the Giza Plateau as a template of these same ancient skies. ... Zecharia Sitchin - Lost Book Of Enki (Memories and Prophecies of an Extraterrestrial God)

Will the past become our future? Is humankind destined to repeat the events that occurred on another planet, far away from Earth? Zecharia Sitchin’s bestselling series, The Earth Chronicles, provided humanity’s side of the story--as recorded on ancient clay tablets and other Sumerian artifacts--concerning our origins at the hands of the Anunnaki, “those who from heaven to earth came.” In The Lost Book of Enki, we can view this saga from a different perspective through this richly conceived autobiographical account of Lord Enki, an Anunnaki god, who tells the story of these extraterrestrials’ arrival on Earth from the 12th planet, Nibiru. The object of their colonization: gold to replenish the dying atmosphere of their home planet. Finding this precious metal results in the Anunnaki creation of homo sapiens--the human race--to mine this important resource. In his previous works, Sitchin compiled the complete story of the Anunnaki’s impact on human civilization in peacetime and in war from the fragments scattered throughout Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Hittite, Egyptian, Canaanite, and Hebrew sources--the “myths” of all ancient peoples in the old world as well as the new. Missing from these accounts, however, was the perspective of the Anunnaki themselves. What was life like on their own planet? What motives propelled them to settle on Earth--and what drove them from their new home? Convinced of the existence of a now lost book that formed the basis of ancient Sumerian texts holding the answers to these questions, the author began his search for evidence. Through exhaustive research of primary sources, he has here re-created tales as the memoirs of Enki, the leader of these first “astronauts.” What takes shape is the story of a world of mounting tensions, deep rivalries, and sophisticated scientific knowledge that is only today being confirmed. An epic tale of gods and men unfolds, challenging every assumption we hold about our creation, our past, and our future. ... l_God_.pdf

Samael Aun Weor - Esoteric Treatise Of Hermetic Astrology

It is really lamentable that this living human zodiac, the microcosm, sleeps so profoundly. On the basis of tremendous super-efforts, it becomes indispensable to achieve the awakening of consciousness in each of our twelve zodiacal signs.
Light and consciousness are two phenomena of the same thing: to a lesser degree of consciousness there corresponds a lesser degree of light; to a greater degree of consciousness, a greater degree of light.
We need to awaken consciousness in order to cause each of the twelve parts of our own microcosmic zodiac to shine and sparkle. Our entire zodiac must become light and splendor. - Samael Aun Weor. ... rology.pdf

Ambelain - Le Martinisme (Occult And Mystical Freemasonry)

Martinism is a form of mystical or esoteric Christianity, which envisions the figure of Christ as "The Repairer" who enables individuals to attain an idealised state such as that in the Garden of Eden before the Fall. As an informal practice, Martinism dates back to late 18th Century France. In the late 19th Century it was established in France and elsewhere as a formal order meeting in lodges. During the 20th century there has also been a revival of some of the practices which pre-date Martinism proper and which directly inspired it.
Robert Ambelain is a French author. He in particular wrote the Gold Dragon, The Magic Crystal, the Crowned Magic and Jesus or the Secret Mortal Of Templiers.
It is an author esoteric, freemason, founder of an association of occultists and martinists.
Born on September 2, 1907 in Paris (10h20), he was man of letters, historian and member member of the Men of letters, of the association of the writers of French language “sea overseas”. he is the author of 42 works. He dies in 1997 at the 90 years age. ... sonry_.pdf

Cisco Wheeler and Fritz Springmeier - The Illuminati Formula Used to Create an Undetectable Total Mind Controlled Slave

Introduction by Fritz

There are many dangers to the human race, some real and some imagined. I believe that the trauma-based mind control which this book exposes is the greatest danger to the human race. It gives evil men the power to carry out any evil deed totally undetected. By the time the astute reader finishes this book, they will be as familiar with how to carry out trauma-based mind-control as some of the programmers. Ancient and more recent secrets will no longer be secrets. Over the years, I have spent thousands of hours studying the Illuminati, the Intelligence agencies of the world, and the occult world in general. The centerpiece of these organizations is the trauma-based mind control that they carry out. Without the ability to carry out this sophisticated type of mind-control using MPD, drugs, hypnosis and electronics and other control methodologies, these organizations would fail to keep their dark evil deeds secret.

Robert Kirk: Walker Between the Worlds A New Edition of The Secret Commonwealth of Elves, Fauns and Fairies To this day, Robert Kirk, the Scottish minister and scholar, is believed to be entrapped in the mysterious Fairy realm, or Underworld, which he described in such detail in the late seventeenth century. Robert Kirk's "Secret Commonwealth" was the first work of its kind to be published in the English language, and it has long been a primary source for the study of Highland Fairy lore and the Second Sight. This new edition in modern English by R.J. Stewart includes a detailed commentary. Comparisons are made between the ancient rites and powers of Fairy tradition and Second Sight, and those of Shamanism, Native American tradition, Celtic myth and legend, and perennial magical arts. A fascinating and absorbing book that offers a fresh and stimulating insight into techniques of inner transformation.

Explains the physics of flying saucers and the formulae that can be used for their design. It explains why flying saucers are silent, how they can hover and how they travel far faster and out-manoeuvre any known military aircraft. It outlines the physics of space craft that can travel anywhere in the universe in a few seconds. It explains the reasons why some UFOs look like 'saucers' and others, very large and football shaped. It explains how gravitational, electric and magnetic fields are dimensional time fields, and unifies them. This book also explains the physics behind the Philadelphia Experiment and outlines how Noah's Ark was probably an advanced spaceship. The Australian Government has been so concerned about this physics that in 1995 a provisional patent of Ted's containing 10 inventions including flying saucers, was confiscated by the Australian Defence Department and the Australian Safeguards Office. ... _1997_.pdf

Sri Swami Shivananda - Practical Lessons In Yoga

Book Description

This book has been specially designed by the author keeping in mind the needs of the students of Yoga in Europe and America, who need practical but non-technical presentation of the subject in a language accessible to the beginner in the path. At the end of the book an Appendix has been added and a glossary of Sanskrit terms given.

About the Author

No saint or sage in the history of the world has such a prolific literary output to his credit, in addition to the building up of a world-wide organization. Even dynamic political leaders have confessed often that the exigencies of administration keep them away from literary pursuits. It is only Swami Sivananda, who has been able to keep a continuous flow of spiritual literature, in spite of being busily engaged in the administration of the Divine Life Society.
The secret, according to him, lies in being able to switch his mind on, at will, from one task to another, without the least difficulty and with great advantage.
Sri Swami Sivananda’s writings are characteristic in being free from the rigid technical nomenclature and the austere logic usually met with in texts dealing with super-mundane matters and in thus being accessible even to the most non-intellectual type of aspirants.
A medic by profession, Swami Sivananda moved towards spirituality and established the Sivananda Ashram at Rishikesh in the year 1934. His lucid teachings and writings atracted many and the Ashram became one of the most revered spirituality centres. Many of his disciples established their Ashrams devoting themselves to the propagation of the teachings of their master. One such, Swami Satyananda Saraswati, established the internationally famous Bihar School of Yoga and produced many master pieces on the subject like Asana Pranayama Mudra Bandha... ... n_Yoga.pdf

Arthur E. Powell - The Etheric Double

According to esoteric teachings we have an energy body of lighter, less
dense material that is connected to our physical bodies. Those who can see it call it the aura and can sometimes tell the state of a person's health by the way it appears. Those who use its energy refer to the force as prana, chi, vital force, orgone or a number of other names.
There are seven chakras, or energy points, where this energy collects in the etheric body. Working with the chakras and these spiritual energies can play a big part in the psychic development and enlightenment of those sensitive enough to work on these levels. This book shows you how.
Subjects include a chapter on each chakra center; also Prana or Vitality, Force-Centres, Kundalini, Healing, Mediumship, Birth, Death, Mesmerism, Magnetisation of Objects, Ectoplasm, and more. ... Double.pdf

Robert Lawlor - Sacred Geometry: Philosophy and Practice (Art and Imagination)

The thinkers of ancient Egypt, Greece and India recognized that numbers governed much of what they saw in their world and hence provided an approach to its divine creator. This book explains the system that determines the dimension and form of both man-made and natural structures, from gothic cathedrals to flowers, from music to the human body. Involving the reader in practical experiments, in 9 workbooks the author leads from simple principles to a grasp of the logarithmic spiral, the Golden Proportion, the squaring of the circle and other ubiquitous ratios and proportions.

Swami Sri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaja - Vedic Mathematics

Swami Bharati Krishna Tirtha's Vedic mathematics is a system of mathematics consisting of a list of 16 basic sutras, or aphorisms, that allegedly encompass all mathematics. They were presented by a Hindu scholar and mathematician, Jagadguru Swami Sri Bharati Krishna Tirthaji Maharaja, during the early part of the 20th century (Trivedi, 1965).

Tirthaji claims that he found the sutras after years of studying the Vedas, a set of sacred ancient Hindu texts (Agrawala, 1992). However, labelling the mathematics he presented as ‘Vedic’ has provoked great controversy amongst Indian mathematicians who question both the Vedic origin of the mathematics, and whether the sutras can fulfill the claim of encompassing all mathematics. Nonetheless, the calculation strategies provided by Vedic mathematics are creative and useful, and can be applied in a number of ways to calculation methods in arithmetic and algebra, most notably within the education system. ... matics.pdf

Melchizedek Drunvalo - The Ancient Secret Of The Flower Of Life (Vol.1 and 2)

Once, all life in the universe knew the Flower of Life as the creation pattern - the geometrical design leading us into and out of physical existence. Then from a very high state of consciousness we fell in darkness and forgot who we were. For thousands of years the secret was held in ancient artifacts and carvings around the world, and encoded in the cells of all life.
Here Drunvalo Melchizedek presents in text and graphics the first half of the Flower of Life Workshop, illuminating the mysteries of how we came to be, why the world is the way it is and the subtle energies that allow our awareness to blossom into its true beauty. Sacred Geometry is the form beneath our being and points to a divine order in our reality. We can follow that order form the invisible atom to the infinite stars, finding ourselves at each step. The information here is one path, but between the lines and drawings lie the feminine gems of intuitive understanding. Explore the miracle of our existence by meandering through the wonderland of geometry, science, ancient history and new discovery, seen through the widened vision of Drunvalo and the Flower of Life.
Volume 2 will explore in great detail the Mer-Ka-Ba, the 55-foot-diameter energy field of the human lightbody. This knowledge leads to ascension and the next dimensional world.

Tao Te Ching

The Tao Te Ching is a Chinese classic text. According to tradition, it was written around 6th century BCE by the Taoist sage Laozi (or Lao Tzu, "Old Master"), a record-keeper at the Zhou Dynasty court, by whose name the text is known in China. The text's true authorship and date of composition or compilation are still debated.
The Tao Te Ching is fundamental to the Taoist school of Chinese philosophy and strongly influenced other schools, such as Legalism and Neo-Confucianism. This ancient book is also central in Chinese religion, not only for Taoism but Chinese Buddhism, which when first introduced into China was largely interpreted through the use of Taoist words and concepts. Many Chinese artists, including poets, painters, calligraphers, and even gardeners have used the Tao Te Ching as a source of inspiration. Its influence has also spread widely outside East Asia, aided by hundreds of translations into Western languages.

The Mahābhārata is one of the two major Sanskrit epics of ancient India, the other being the Ramayana. With more than 74,000 verses, long prose passages, and about 1.8 million words in total, the Mahābhārata is one of the longest epic poems in the world. Including the Harivamsa, the Mahabharata has a total length of more than 90,000 verses.

It is of immense importance to the culture of India and Nepal, and is a major text of Hinduism. Its discussion of human goals (artha or wealth, kama or pleasure, dharma or duty/harmony, and moksha or liberation) takes place in a long-standing tradition, attempting to explain the relationship of the individual to society and the world (the nature of the 'Self') and the workings of karma. ... harata.pdf

Bhagavad Gita

Bhagavad Gita is a Sanskrit text from the Bhishma Parva of the Mahabharata epic.
Krishna, as the speaker of the Bhagavad Gita, is referred to within as Bhagavan (the divine one), and the verses themselves, using the range and style of Sanskrit meter (chandas) with similes and metaphors, are written in a poetic form that is traditionally chanted; hence the title, which translates to "the Song of the Divine One". The Bhagavad Gita is revered as sacred by the majority of Hindu traditions, and especially so by followers of Krishna. It is commonly referred to as The Gita.
The content of the text is a conversation between Krishna and Arjuna taking place on the battlefield of Kurukshetra just prior to the start of a climactic war. Responding to Arjuna's confusion and moral dilemma, Krishna explains to Arjuna his duties as a warrior and Prince and elaborates on a number of different Yogic and Vedantic philosophies, with examples and analogies. This has led to the Gita often being described as a concise guide to Hindu philosophy and also as a practical, self-contained guide to life. During the discourse, Krishna reveals his identity as the Supreme Being Himself (Bhagavan), blessing Arjuna with an awe-inspiring glimpse of His divine absolute form. ... d_Gita.pdf

Ramayana is an ancient Sanskrit epic attributed to the poet Valmiki and an important part of the Hindu canon.
It consists of 24,000 verses in seven cantos and tells the story of Raam, whose wife Sita is abducted by the demon (Rākshas) king of Lanka, Rāvan.
The Rāmāyan had an important influence on later Sanskrit poetry, primarily through its establishment of the Slok meter. But, like its epic cousin Mahābhārat, the Rāmāyan is not just an ordinary story. It contains the teachings of ancient Hindu sages and presents them through allegory in narrative and the interspersion of the philosophical and the devotional. The characters of Raam, Sita, Lakshman, Bharat, Hanumān and Rāvan (the villain of the piece) are all fundamental to the cultural consciousness of India.

Harun Yahya - Global Freemasonry

Freemasonry is a controversial subject. Some have accused it of fantastic crimes and perversions. However, Global Freemasonry takes the issue rationally. The book investigates critically the roots of Masonry and the history of Masons' struggle against theistic religions. Freemasons have played an important role in the alienation of Europe from religion, and in its place, founding of a new order based on the philosophy of materialism and secular humanism.
After reading this book, you will be able to consider many subjects, from philosophical schools to newspaper headlines, rock music songs to political perspectives, with a deeper understanding, and discern the meaning and aims behind events and phenomena.

Oahspe is a book written in 1880 by an American dentist named John Ballou Newbrough [1828-1891]. He claimed that it was the result of automatic writing, dictated to him by spirits in a trance. In this trance he wrote the entire book on a very early typewriter (possibly the first such book ever written on a machine!). The spirits were very profilic; Oahspe is about four-fifths the size of the King James Bible, and more than twice the size of the Book of Mormon. Other texts archived at Sacred-texts authored via automatic writing during the 19th century include the Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ, and Clothed with the Sun.

Oahspe appeared in the context of the Spiritualist movement, the Victorian predecessor of the "New Age" channelling and past life regressions. It has similarities to Theosophy, and, strangely enough, to the rumored science-fiction Scientology mythology (which, of course, has no relationship whatsoever to Oahspe or its adherents). Oahspe inspired a radically different set of spiritual beliefs, called Faithism which has a small following even today. The Faithists do not consider Oahspe the literal truth; instead they find inspiration in its many ethical and spiritual passages.

Alison Butler - The Revival of the Occult Philosophy

It is essential that we include the history of the western magical tradition in any study of intellectual history. The belief in and practice of magic is part of an interpretation of existence with a long history.

That humanity continues to turn to magic for answers about the universe, human beings, and their interaction with the world demonstrates that it is not a mode of thinking which can be dated to a certain time period, The history of the western magical tradition defied the existence of a world process of rationalisation.
This thesis will show how the tradition did so in the Renaissance and continued to do so in a revival of that same magical system in nineteenth-century England. Specifically, in this study we will focus on the establishment and development of cabalistic magic and how it provided the ideal system in which many currents of esotericism could be assimilated.
We will show how this synthesis began in the Renaissance by scholars such as Pico della Mirandola, Johannes Reuchlin and Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa von Nettesheim, and we will show how the process was concluded by Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers, a cofounder of a nineteenth-century English magical society, The Hemetic Order of the Golden Dawn. Along the way we will discuss the contributions of various scholars and occultists and demonstrate their roles in either maintaining and, or expanding the system of cabalistic magic.

The "Three Initiates" who authored The Kybalion chose to remain anonymous. As a result, a great deal of speculation has been made about who actually wrote the book.
This book is a study of basic hermetic teachings that outlines an ageless wisdom. In ancient times (and even today) these teachings were not understood by the lay person, but were readily understood by students, after the axioms and principles had been explained and exemplified by the Hermetic Initiates and Masters to their Neophytes. The Kybalion was originally written in the early 1900s and is now in the public domain. A priceless gem!

The Aurum Solis Manual

Aurum Solis, Gold of the Sun, is a magical order founded in England in 1897 by George Stanton and Charles Kingold which claims descent from the Ogdoadic Tradition of the Western Mystery Tradition[1]. It is best known through the published works of two of its leaders, Vivian Godfrey and Leon Barcynski. Better known by their pseudonyms, Melita Denning and Osborne Phillips, the husband and wife team together authored many books on different aspects of magical practice, such as Astral Projection and Creative Visualization, as well as their seminal work outlining the corpus of the Aurum Solis and the Ogdoadic Tradition, The Magical Philosophy.

Despite being a small Tradition and Order, in comparison to the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and its descendents or various Thelemic orders, it remains a distinct and unique system of magical philosophy and practice. ... Manual.pdf

G.R.S. Mead - The Hymns of Hermes

These writings are attributed to Hermes Trismegistus an ancient Egyptian the founder of all arts and sciences both mundane and spiritual. Rather than being an actual person Hermes is, in reality, the Egyptian personification of the Gnostic Revealer. In addition to providing translations of the beautiful Greek hymns from the ancient Hermetic writing, Mead offers an interpretation which is sympathetic personal and full of insight. This little volume which might well be called initiatory is an excellent introduction to the Hermetic Gnosis. ... Hermes.pdf

Fritjof Capra - The Tao Of Physics

First published in 1975, The Tao of Physics rode the wave of fascination in exotic East Asian philosophies. Decades later, it still stands up to scrutiny, explicating not only Eastern philosophies but also how modern physics forces us into conceptions that have remarkable parallels. Covering over 3,000 years of widely divergent traditions across Asia, Capra can't help but blur lines in his generalizations. But the big picture is enough to see the value in them of experiential knowledge, the limits of objectivity, the absence of foundational matter, the interrelation of all things and events, and the fact that process is primary, not things. Capra finds the same notions in modern physics. Those approaching Eastern thought from a background of Western science will find reliable introductions here to Hinduism, Buddhism, and Taoism and learn how commonalities among these systems of thought can offer a sort of philosophical underpinning for modern science. And those approaching modern physics from a background in Eastern mysticism will find precise yet comprehensible descriptions of a Western science that may reinvigorate a hope in the positive potential of scientific knowledge. Whatever your background, The Tao of Physics is a brilliant essay on the meeting of East and West, and on the invaluable possibilities that such a union promises. --Brian Bruya ... hysics.pdf

The Book of Enoch

Originally Rejected by the Church, THE BOOK OF ENOCH (aka Enoch 1) is read as an Apocryphal text and studied by Christians, Mormons, Muslims, students of Kabbalah (Qabbalah, Zohar) and theosophy, Gnostic Biblical History and Comparative Religion Students, Scholars, Historians, Free Thinkers, Atheists, New Age Thinkers, Angel Researchers and other voracious readers.

The Book of Enoch, written during the second century B.C.E., is one of the most important non-canonical apocryphal works, and probably had a huge influence on early Christian, particularly Gnostic, beliefs. Filled with hallucinatory visions of heaven and hell, angels and
devils, Enoch introduced concepts such as fallen angels, the appearance of a Messiah, Resurrection, a Final Judgement, and a Heavenly Kingdom on Earth. Interspersed with this material are quasi-scientific digressions on calendrical systems, geography, cosmology, astronomy, and meteorology!!!

The Edda of Saemund

The Poetic Edda is a collection of Old Norse poems primarily preserved in the Icelandic mediaeval manuscript Codex Regius. Along with Snorri Sturluson's Prose Edda the Poetic Edda is the most important extant source on Norse mythology and Germanic heroic legends. Codex Regius was written in the 13th century but nothing is known of its whereabouts until 1643 when it came into the possession of Brynjólfur Sveinsson, then Bishop of Skálholt. At that time versions of Snorri's Edda were well known in Iceland but scholars speculated that there once was another Edda—an Elder Edda—which contained the pagan poems which Snorri quotes in his book. When Codex Regius was discovered, it seemed that this speculation had proven correct. Brynjólfur attributed the manuscript to Sæmundr the Learned, a larger-than-life 12th century Icelandic priest. While this attribution is rejected by modern scholars, the name Sæmundar Edda is still sometimes encountered.

Nicholson — who was one of the greatest Islamic scholars of the early 20th century — provides the general reader with an easy approach to the study of Islamic mysticism. He gives a broad outline of Sufism and describes the key principles, methods and characteristic features of the inner life as it has been lived by Muslims of every class and condition from the 8th century onwards. Anonymous - The Regius Manuscript (1390 AD?)

According to a philosophical study undertaken by British Museum experts, the Manuscript dates from approximately 1390 . Published by James O. Halliwell in 1840, it was mentioned in an inventory of John Theyer’s library in 1670. The latter was sold to Robert Scott, with a new inventory dated 1678. The Manuscript then became the property of the Royal Library until 1757 (hence its name Regius), at which time it was donated to the British Museum by King George II.

The Regius Manuscript is made up of several sections as follows:

- Foundation of Masonry by Euclid in Egypt
- Introduction of Masonry into England under King Athelstane
- The Moral Duties, fifteen articles
- The Moral Duties, fifteen points
- Another ordinance of the art of geometry
- The story of the Four Crowned Ones
- The Tower of Babylon

The 6th and 7th Book of Moses

Besides the biblical five books of Moses (Pentateuch), there are other writings ascribed to Moses (pseudepigraphically no doubt). The so-called Sixth and Seventh books of Moses in particular consists of a collection of texts which purport to explain the magic whereby Moses won the biblical magic contest with the Egyptian priest-magicians, parted the Red Sea, and other miraculous feats. Many manuscripts and printed pamphlet versions had circulated in Germany, when Johann Scheible, undertook to collect the major variants.

This books contains the seals of angelic, planetary, and demonic spirits. If you are a Christian and practice Hoodoo, this book has an excellent treatise on Magic and the Bible. This occult knowledge isn't for the novice and must be approached in all seriousness. I have relied on the seals many times when performing conjure work and the results have been excellent.

G.R.S.Mead - Pistis Sophia

Pistis Sophia is an important Gnostic text. The five remaining copies, which scholars date c. 250–300 AD, relate the Gnostic teachings of the transfigured Jesus to the assembled disciples (including his mother Mary, Mary Magdalene, and Martha), when the risen Christ had accomplished eleven years speaking with his disciples. In it the complex structures and hierarchies of heaven familiar in Gnostic teachings are revealed.

The female divinity of gnosticism is Sophia, a being with many aspects and names. She is sometimes identified with the Holy Ghost itself but, according to her various capacities, is also the Universal Mother, the Mother of the Living or Resplendent Mother, the Power on High, She-of-the-left-hand (as opposed to Christ, understood as her husband and he of the Right Hand), as the Luxurious One, the Womb, the Virgin, the Wife of the Male, the Revealer of Perfect Mysteries, the Saint Columba of the Spirit, the Heavenly Mother, the Wandering One, or Elena (that is, Selene, the Moon). She was envisaged as the Psyche of the world and the female aspect of Logos (Christ).

The text proclaims that Jesus remained on earth after the resurrection for 11 years, and was able in this time to teach his disciples up to the first (i.e. beginner) level of the mystery. It starts with an allegory paralleling the death and resurrection of Jesus, and describing the descent and ascent of the soul. After that it proceeds to describe important figures within the gnostic cosmology, and then finally lists 32 carnal desires to overcome before salvation is possible, overcoming all 32 constituting salvation.

Alvin Boyd Kuhn - Who is This King of Glory

A Critical Study of the Christos-Messiah Tradition.

"This book is the narrative of what happened back in the third century of Christian history, when the Christian movement passed over from the hands of the Philosophers of the Greek world into those of the unphilosophical and worldly minded Romans and suffered the total extinction of its original light of esoteric spiritual meaning, the historical result of which was the sixteen centuries of the Dark Ages.

This book is the natural companion and complement of The Lost Light."

Alvin Boyd Kuhn - The Root of All Religion

This is an important work by one of the most gifted minds ever to put mystical precepts to the pen. Here, Kuhn explores the true nature of the one religion and why it is important to understand its natural and intended effects on humanity and why the institutions that endeavor to corrupt its message will inevitably fail.

Alvin Boyd Kuhn - Halloween - A Festival of Lost Meanings

Kuhn, the author of the popular New Lectures on the Ancient Wisdom series, offers up an essay on the origins of Halloween and its traditions such as the candle in the pumpkin, broomstick riding witches, apple in a tub of water and the wearing of masks. He searches to find a meaning behind Halloween that goes beyond the sheer fun and deviltry of it as it has been practiced in the past and present.

Milton William Cooper - Behold a Pale Horse (1991)

Written after Cooper had been a member of the US Naval Intelligence Briefing Team of the Commander in Chief of the United States Pacific Fleet, the book details many of Cooper's claims about the alleged influence of UFOs on US government agencies, the New World Order, the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, the alleged Apollo hoaxes and other topics.

Another claim made in the book pertains to his own death. William Cooper, seemingly paranoid, claimed that he would be shot to death on his own property. True to his "fate," he was gunned down in precisely this manner years after publishing the book and settling down in Arizona.

The title of the book alludes to a passage in the Bible, Revelation 6:8: "And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him."

Missler And Eastman - Alien Encounters

What is different and exceptionally interesting and valuable about this book is that it takes a 180 degree turn to review this information from a completely different paradigm - UFO's could be from an alternative dimension. From this multi-dimensional vantage point, many of the odd facts, and abduction and other reports on UFO's fit together better and are more easily accepted. It also touches upon some of the laws of physics to show why these laws are at issue and therefore must be dealt with.

Going a step further, Missler and Eastman then review ancient passages in an attempt to determine if this multi-dimensional paradigm can fit with Jewish, or Christian scriptural beliefs. It appears that their research really pays off well with a different paradigm that supports all of the disparate and anomalous UFO reports.

Druidism and shamanism related:

James Mooney - Sacred Formulaes of the Cherokee

Sacred Formulaes of the Cherokee covers a number of magical texts amongst the Cherokee Nation. This book does a wonderful job talking about such manuals, mentioning how they were obtaine, going into depth about the Cherokee worldview and beliefs on magic, concepts of disease, healing ceremonies, practices such as bleeding, rubbing and bathing, Shamanism, the use of wording, explanations of the formulae and so forth. It then goes on to give an amazingly varied collection of Cherokee formulae, first in the original Cherokee (again, in the Latin alphabet) and then translated into English. Everything from healing to killing witches to medicine for stick ball games and war. Both books include numerous photographs and illustrations of famous historical figures, Cherokee manuscripts and petroglyphs and a map of Cherokee lands. Again, this is a truely massive book and even today is considered one of the essential writings of Cherokee religion. Anyone with an interest in the subject, whether anthropologist, descendant of the Cherokee or just curious person interested in Native culture, should definately give this book a read.

A Reformed Druid Anthology

The Anthology is a useful resource for those who cannot make it to the International Druid Archives. It contains a number of useful documents from and about the history of Reformed Druidism, a section on past liturgy which is interesting both for the student of Reformed Druidism and also for any RDNA priest interested in using/creating their own rituals. Overall this is an interesting and worthwhile volume...

ARDA includes study guides, essays, liturgies, organizational trivia, stories, a lengthy history, and humorous materials that permit a deep understanding of our history and operations. It is rife with footnotes and explanatory passages. It is a psuedo-portable compilation (500 pages) of RDNA records from the massive Druid Archives at Carleton College, which also includes books and materials from other academia and Druid movements.

Courtney Brown - Cosmic Explorers: Scientific Remote Viewing, Extraterrestrials, and a Message for Mankind

In Cosmic Explorers, Dr. Brown takes his research a critical step further, in a riveting true story that expands humanity's journey into the deepest mysteries of the cosmos.

Based on unprecedented information drawn from Scientific Remote Viewing (SRV), Cosmic Explorers continues the search for extraterrestrial life, and sounds and important warning.

The U.S. military has long used remote viewing as a means of spying on potential or actual enemies. Dr. Brown developed the technique further, producing uncannily accurate information about verifiable targets. Now he applies these techniques in an unusual direction, and speculates that the remnants of a Martian race may be struggling to survive in burried recesses on their own devastated planet, and he further explores the idea that the Greys - a seemingly highly evolved humanoid race - may be seeking a new future for themselves. He also raises the possibility of yet a third previously unknown alien civilization: a warlike race that may have its own frightening agenda for our planet.
Through detailed descriptions of actual SRV sessions, Dr. Brown provides a rare glimpse into the possible structure and culture of this aggressive race, the Reptilians, including the nature of their heirarchy, their home world, and their covert activities. He also takes us deeper into the secret worlds of the Greys and the Martians, whose ongoing crises could have a profound effect on the people of Earth.

Thomas Inman - Ancient Pagan and Modern Christian Symbolism

First published in 1869, this remarkable early work of comparative mythology intended for the general public takes great pains to remind the reader that there is no danger of suddenly finding oneself transformed into a Buddhist or a "Mahometan" merely by allowing one's eyes to alight upon symbols of a non-Protestant faith. It also feels the need to introduce the reader to the idea of religious "arcana," that some concepts were once deemed fit only for select and secret ears, and then proceeds to cheerfully reveal some of those secrets, such as the phallicism of church steeples and spires. With the assistance of numerous charming illustrations, Inman introduces his 19th-century readers to the metaphorical links between Christianity and the civilizations of the ancient world-India, Babylonia, Assyria, Egypt, and others-from shared abstract figures of stars and crosses to nature symbology (fish, trees) to particular arrangements of the human figures in religious portraits that cross cultures. But it is the author's enchanting handholding that makes this work so appealing today: it speaks to a new enthusiasm among the public for an approach to religion-and religion as mythology-that is rational, logical, and beginning to approach the modern. British doctor and mythologist (1820-1876) is also the author of Ancient Faiths Embodied in Ancient Names as well as several books on hygiene.

Anyone who wants to understand the hyperdimensional reality which is the "home" of alleged aliens, should pick up Laura Knight-Jadczyk's latest book, The High Strangeness of Dimensions, Densities and the Process of Alien Abduction. With diligent research and a relentless drive for the facts, Laura strips away the facade of alien abductions masquerading as mind control and mind control masquerading as alien abductions. Laura Knight-Jadczyk - The Secret History of the World And How To Get Out Alive

If you heard the Truth, would you believe it? Ancient civilizations. Hyperdimensional realities. DNA changes. Bible conspiracies. What are the realities? What is disinformation? The Secret History of The World and How To Get Out Alive is the definitive book of the real answers where Truth is more fantastic than fiction. Laura Knight-Jadczyk, wife of internationally known theoretical physicist, Arkadiusz Jadczyk, an expert in hyperdimensional physics, draws on science and mysticism to pierce the veil of reality. Due to the many threats on her life from agents and agencies known and unknown, Laura left the United States to live in France, where she is working closely with Patrick Rivière, student of Eugene Canseliet, the only disciple of the legendary alchemist Fulcanelli. To this day, Laura continues to undergo ad-hominem attacks on her web pages, her blog and even as faux book 'reviews' on book seller websites, by those threatened by the information she reveals in this definitive work. Yet, with sparkling humour and wisdom, she picks up where Fulcanelli left off, sharing over thirty years of research to reveal, for the first time, The Great Work and the esoteric Science of the Ancients in terms accessible to scholar and layperson alike.

Michael A. Cremo and Richard L. Thompson - The Hidden History of the Human Race

Book description

Over the past two centuries, researchers have found bones and artifacts showing humans like us existed millions of years ago. But scientists have suppressed, ignored, or forgotten these pieces of evidence. Prejudices based on current scientific theory have acted as what Michael A. Cremo and Richard L. Thompson call a knowledge filter. According to Cremo and Thompson, we have thus come to accept a picture of prehistory that is largely incorrect. The Hidden History of the Human Race is a call for a change in today's rigid scientific mindset. Bringing to light a great number of long hidden artifacts and skeletal remains, Cremo and Thompson challenge us to rethink our understanding of human origins and the accepted methods of science itself. The unabridged version of this book is called Forbidden Archeology.

Robert Temple - The Sirius Mystery: Conclusive New Evidence of Alien Influence on the Origins of Humankind in the Traditions of an African Tribe

Is the existence of civilization on Earth a result of contact from inhabitants of a planet in the sysyem of the star Sirius prior to 3000 BC? There are tribal cultures in present-day Africa whos most sacred and secret traditions are based on this theory. Central to their cosmology is a body of knowledge concerning the system of the star Sirius that is accurate in detail, including specific information only recently accesible to modern science. The author traces the traditions of the Dogon and three related tribes back 5000 years to the ancient Mediterranean cultures of Egypt and Sumer. He shows a knowledge dependent on physics and astrophysics, which they claimed was imported to them by visitors from Sirius.

Amir D. Aczel - Descartes's Secret Notebook: A True Tale of Mathematics, Mysticism, and the Quest to Understand the Universe

René Descartes (1596–1650) is one of the towering and central figures in Western philosophy and mathematics. His apothegm “Cogito, ergo sum” marked the birth of the mind-body problem, while his creation of so-called Cartesian coordinates have made our physical and intellectual conquest of physical space possible.

But Descartes had a mysterious and mystical side, as well. Almost certainly a member of the occult brotherhood of the Rosicrucians, he kept a secret notebook, now lost, most of which was written in code. After Descartes’s death, Gottfried Leibniz, inventor of calculus and one of the greatest mathematicians in history, moved to Paris in search of this notebook—and eventually found it in the possession of Claude Clerselier, a friend of Descartes. Leibniz called on Clerselier and was allowed to copy only a couple of pages—which, though written in code, he amazingly deciphered there on the spot. Leibniz’s hastily scribbled notes are all we have today of Descartes’s notebook, which has disappeared.

Why did Descartes keep a secret notebook, and what were its contents? The answers to these questions lead Amir Aczel and the reader on an exciting, swashbuckling journey, and offer a fascinating look at one of the great figures of Western culture.

Harun Yahya - Those Who Plot Evil Actions: Templars and the Freemasons

The Knights of the Temple—or Templars, for short—an organization that arose in the Middle Ages, but whose activities and supporters changed over the course of time. The Knights Templar first emerged after the First Crusade, rapidly adopted a political identity and became one of the greatest financial powers of the ages.

Initially portraying themselves as devout, they made use of the prestige and esteem they thus acquired. But statements from the Templar trials that began in 1327 revealed the organization’s true face: Shortly after its formation, it had adopted a form of satanic teaching and also acquired one of the greatest fortunes in Europe.

How did the Templars amass this financial power? How vast was their wealth? And now, who controls that sinister fortune they amassed, and to what ends is it being used?

To answer these questions, this book reconsiders the Knights Templars—whose history was dealt with in our earlier book on the subject—and their successors, the Freemasons, and shows how the Templars continue to be financed by illicit funds.

Phil Hine - Prime Chaos: Adventures in Chaos Magic

"Prime Chaos" continues the exposition of the fastest-growing school of modern occultism - Chaos Magic. The author presents simple, yet effective techniques for becoming proficient in practical magic, including an exhaustive breakdown of the possibilities offered by ritual magic, sorcery, invocation, possession and evocation. The resurgence of interest in magic has led to a new interest in magical groups, and Phil Hine brings a wealth of experience in groups to an exploration of the advantages - and disadvantages - of working magic with other people. "Prime Chaos" also explores some of the lighter - and darker - aspects of modern occultism, and presents new ideas for developing magical techniques for the 21st Century.

Doctrine and Rituals of the Martinist Order.

About Martinism:

Martinism is a form of mystical or esoteric Christianity, which envisions the figure of Christ as "The Repairer" who enables individuals to attain an idealised state such as that in the Garden of Eden before the Fall. As an informal practice, Martinism dates back to late 18th Century France. In the late 19th Century it was established in France and elsewhere as a formal order meeting in lodges. During the 20th century there has also been a revival of some of the practices which pre-date Martinism proper and which directly inspired it.

Jason Augustus Newcomb - The New Hermetics: 21st Century Magick for Illumination and Power

The New Hermetics is a powerful spiritual technology of the mind. It is a course of study and practice that teaches the science of illumination and the ability to alter reality. The ancient Egyptian form of Hermetic philosophy was that the mind shapes reality. The New Hermetics extends that philosophy—the universe is a great mind or consciousness, and we are a part of that consciousness; therefore by learning to control the mind, we learn to control our part of the universe.

With updated versions of the ancient Rosicrucian brotherhood’s 10 levels of initiation, combined with ancient and modern mind-expanding techniques such as visualization and NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), The New Hermetics progressively gives initiates power over their minds and world. Practicing these elements simultaneously makes it possible to undergo initiation into the mysteries of consciousness in a fraction of the time it was ever before possible. The course offered in the book lets practitioners master their minds in such a way that they will be able to achieve anything and everything they want in life, spiritually and physically.

The New Hermetics offers 10 levels of instruction to control the mind and control reality:

Level 1—The Initiate teaches mastery over behavior and visualization in the Ether.

Level 2—The Zealot bestows mastery over emotions, breathing, and Etheric energy.

Level 3—The Practitioner gives mastery over mind, beliefs, and the ability to project Etheric energy.

Level 4—The Philosopher masters creativity, values, and the ability to direct Etheric energy.

Level 5—The Adept develops relationship with cosmic consciousness.

Level 6—The Advanced Adept offers the power to direct the forces of cosmic consciousness.

Level 7—The Perfect Adept gives wisdom and the ability to share these forces with others.

Level 8—The Master bestows mastery of cosmic consciousness.

Level 9—The Mage gains mastery of universal power.

Level 10—The Ultimate Master obtains mastery over the universal self.

The New Hermetics is a powerful course of instruction that can help anyone master themselves to rule their world.

Joseph Lisiewski - Kabbalistic Handbook for the Practicing Magician

For the practising Magician, there is no more crucial working knowledge than the Kabbalah. This complex structure serves as the backdrop against which the magician's thoughts, ideas, ritual and ceremonial work are placed, and is the archetype which breathes life into secret occult practices. Yet, none of the numerous books on 'Qabalah' give those 'on-the-spot' attributions, correspondences and key concepts in a 'user-friendly' style. Until now."The Kabbalistic Handbook" gives you even more. It includes never-before-published techniques that enables Western Magic - including Golden Dawn Magic - to work flawlessly every time! Never again will you need to wade through voluminous chapters of many different books looking for the Kabbalistic information you need. In addition, you will have a course of instruction that will enable that knowledge to work for you as never before. The field is cleared for your main objective: the realization of your desires, manifested through properly executed ritual and ceremonial work.

Charles H. Vail - Ancient Mysteries and Modern Masonry

In the early ages occult knowledge was taught openly, as the sciences are taught in our colleges to-day. But in the course of time many allowed their selfishness to rule and so abused their power that it became necessary to withhold such knowledge from the unworthy. This was the condition of religious affairs when the Mysteries were necessarily established by the King-Priests of the Divine Dynasties, in the early days of Atlantis. -from "The Origin of the Mysteries" Though the author cannot, alas, "lift the veil from the secrets of the Order," 32nd-degree Freemason Charles H. Vail endeavors to lead the curious toward a more complete understanding of the ancient knowledge of the eternal truth of the universe of which the Masons are the keepers. From the great antiquity of Masonic symbols and traditions to the formation of the organization with their perpetuation as its goal, this 1909 book is an intriguing glimpse inside one of the most secretive fraternities in existence. It is required reading for those fascinated by arcane wisdom and secret societies.

This incredibly detailed book reveals the hidden meanings behind occult signs and symbols from ancient times, found in what should be termed stellar theology, and then carried over into our modern world. Also reveals how Freemasonry is connected to Judaism, Christianity and the Bible. Lastly, it shows what the ancients knew about astronomy and how it became incorporated into the various religions of the world. Brown explores the world's legends, emblems and symbols and how they were all connected to ancient astronomical systems.

If, therefore, we would grasp the meaning and purpose of what is said and done in the Lodge, we must keep this fundamental thought uppermost in our mind. In His light shall we see light.

W. L. Wilmshurst - The Meaning of Masonry

Although the Freemasons number over six million members worldwide, they are a very secretive organization. the general public today thinks of them as a social fraternity like the Rotary Club, but that is hardly the whole truth. By mysterious coincidence, it seems, many Masons have been major figures in modern history. many of the Founding Fathers of the United States—including George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and Paul Revere—were Freemasons. Giuseppe Garibaldi, the Italian freedom fighter, was also one, as were the composers Franz Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and writers François Marie Arouet de Voltaire and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The Meaning of Masonry explores the beliefs behind the order, its cryptic rites and symbols, and uncovers its ultimate purpose.

This book discloses the real purpose of modern Masonry, and clearly states the true body of teaching and practice concerning the Esoteric meaning of Masonic Ritual. Written by a great mystic to promote a deeper understanding of the Fraternity.

Albert Churchward - The Arcana Of Freemasonry

The secret history of the Freemasons is revealed in this detailed account of its symbols, depicted here in over 100 illustrations. The author, a Masonic scholar in his time, used solid scholarship to trace the origins and development of masonic signs from ancient Egypt to the present day, showing how the secret order has changed world history.

Egyptian hieroglyphics, Mayan carvings, and Greek mathematical notations figure prominently in this spellbinding true story of a mysterious order's secret history. A renowned symbologist offers illustrated explanations of the meanings behind Masonic symbols, revealing the messages hidden -- in plain sight -- within works of art, architecture, geometry, and literature.

William G. Sibley - The Story of Freemasonry (1904)

Originally published in 1904, The Story of Freemasonry by W.G. Sibley is one of those classic sources of Masonic history that should be in every Mason and history buff's library. Unlike treatments of Masonic history by the likes of Mackey, Waite and Gould, Sibley covers the subject in an easy to digest and conversational manner that leaves the reader wanting more. Sibley looks at such topics as the legend of Hiram, the attempts to exterminate Freemasonry, the mystery of the William Morgan affair to name a few. However, it is his explanation of the origin and structure of the Scottish and York Rites and their relationship to Craft Masonry that is perhaps worth the price of the book alone.

Norman Frederick De Clifford - What is Freemasonry

There have been numberless books written upon Masonry and Free-Masonry, and yet none of these authors have given us any definite or positive information in relation to these subjects as the author of this little volume, "What is Free-Masonry?"

Brother de Clifford has gone out of the beaten path of all other writers, and as a result he has acquired a fund of information that is needed to enable a writer and instructor to give the "LIGHT" to illumine the pathway of those Master Masons who are searching and hungering for a knowledge of "LIGHT AND TRUTH" themselves.

The author of this little volume has given years of untiring zeal and energy in many lands. He has searched diligently for data in relation to the Origin and antiquity of Masonry, what it stands for and what it teaches. He has spent years of personal investigation among the archives of the nations of the East and the sacred writings of the world, and he has given to us in his "EGYPT THE CRADLE OF ANCIENT MASONRY" more Light than any other work that was previously written on Masonry.

James Anderson - The Constitutions of the Free-Masons (1734)

Edition of the the first Masonic book printed in America, which was originally produced in Philadelphia by Benjamin Franklin in 1734, and was a reprint of a work by James Anderson (who is identified as the author in an appendix) printed in London in 1723. This is the seminal work of American Masonry, edited and published by one of the founding fathers, and of great importance to the development of colonial society and the formation of the Republic. The work contains a 40-page history of Masonry: from Adam to the reign of King George I, including, among others, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Solomon, Hiram Abif, Nebuchadnezzar, Augustus Caesar, Vitruvius, King Athelstan the Saxon, Inigo Jones, and James I of England. It is a celebration of the science of Geometry and the Royal Art of Architecture. The work also includes five songs, one of which—“A New Song”—appears in print for the first time and may have been composed by Franklin.

Thomas Paine - On the Origin of Free-Masonry (1810)

It is always understood that Freemasons have a secret which they carefully conceal; but from everything that can be collected from their own accounts of Masonry, their real secret is no other than their origin, which but few of them understand; and those who do, envelop it in mystery.

The Society of Masons are distinguished into three classes or degrees. 1st. The Entered Apprentice. 2d. The Fellow Craft. 3d. The Master Mason.

The Entered Apprentice knows but little more of Masonry than the use of signs and tokens, and certain steps and words by which Masons can recognize each other without being discovered by a person who is not a Mason. The Fellow Craft is not much better instructed in Masonry, than the Entered Apprentice. It is only in the Master Mason's Lodge, that whatever knowledge remains of the origin of Masonry is preserved and concealed.

Ritual of the Independent Order of Good Templars for Subordinate Lodges (1864)

The IOGT Internatinal (formerly known as the International Organisation of Good Templars and International Order of Good Templars and the Independent Order of Good Templars) is an international non-governmental organisation working in the field of temperance. It is based in Sweden, a country which had very strict alcohol policies and laws in the past.

The IOGT originated as one of a number of fraternal organisations for temperance or total abstinence founded in the 19th century and with a structure modelled on Freemasonry, using similar ritual and regalia. Unlike many, however, it admitted men and women equally, and also made no distinction by race.

Godfrey Higgins - Anacalypsis (1833)

Volume one of a two volume set. (This description is for all volumes.)

Godfrey Higgins was convinced that a high civilization had flourished prior to all historical records. He believed that there had existed then a most ancient and universal religion from which all later creeds and doctrines sprang. His research lasted over 20 years. "He attempted to establish the existence of a prehistoric universal religion and to trace its development into contemporary times. He believed this religion possessed accurate knowledge of universal and cosmic phenomena and held neither priesthood nor institution as intermediary in man's communion with the Divine."

This highly sought after book is extremely rare.

Frances A. Yates - Giordano Bruno and the Hermetic Tradition

Placing Bruno—both advanced philosopher and magician burned at the stake—in the Hermetic tradition, Yates's acclaimed study gives an overview not only of Renaissance humanism but of its interplay—and conflict—with magic and occult practices.

"Among those who have explored the intellectual world of the sixteenth century no one in England can rival Miss Yates. Wherever she looks, she illuminates. Now she has looked on Bruno. This brilliant book takes time to digest, but it is an intellectual adventure to read it. Historians of ideas, of religion, and of science will study it. Some of them, after reading it, will have to think again. . . . For Miss Yates has put Bruno, for the first time, in his tradition, and has shown what that tradition was."—Hugh Trevor-Roper, New Statesman

"A decisive contribution to the understanding of Giordano Bruno, this book will probably remove a great number of misrepresentations that still plague the tormented figure of the Nolan prophet."—Giorgio de Santillana, American Historical Review

"Yates's book is an important addition to our knowledge of Giordano Bruno. But it is even more important, I think, as a step toward understanding the unity of the sixteenth century."—J. Bronowski, New York Review of Books

Jose M. Herrou Aragon - The Forbidden Religion

Unlike my other books, this one has a strange origin. It was “received” in its totality during sleep, between July and November 2005. On waking up each morning over these four months, there was in my mind a sentence or a paragraph which would later be the complete message put in the form of a book, and soon I set out to write it, afraid of forgetting it.

It was like I was attending a university course in my dreams, in which I was informed about all kinds of strange topics. In one of these dreams I saw a type of teacher or master who said to me: “separate yourself from the rest of my students, since I must entrust you with a different task.” I asked him his name and he said something like “Luisifel” or “Luisfel”. This is how my experiences were during the months that this phenomenon lasted; after which this form of contact during sleep stopped completely.

When I had put together everything that I had written, I realized that a major change had occurred within me and that I was no longer that what I had been before before. Writing the book had totally transformed me, maybe irreversibly.

Currently I am investigating if there is some kind of secret message or hidden key still undiscovered in this book.

Roger Beck - Religion of the Mithras Cult in the Roman Empire

This volume is a study of the religious system of Mithraism, one of the "mystery cults" popular in the Roman Empire contemporary with early Christianity. Roger Beck describes Mithraism from the point of view of the initiate engaging with the religion and its rich symbolic system in thought, word, ritual action, and cult life. He employs the methods of anthropology of religion and the new cognitive science of religion to explore in detail the semiotics of the Mysteries' astral symbolism, which has been the principal subject of his many previous publications on the cult.

Patrick Boylan - Thoth The Hermes of Egypt

1922. The purpose of this essay is to indicate the chief tendencies of ancient Egyptian speculation in regard to the god Thoth. Taking as the basis of his work a fairly complete examination of the chief references to the god in Egyptian literature and ritual, the author has tried to distinguish the more important phases of Thoth's character as they were conceived by the Egyptians, and to show how these aspects, or phases, of his being help to explain the various activities which are assigned to him in the Egyptian legends of the gods and in the ritual of tombs and temples.

According to the Osirian legend, Thoth is one of the five principal deities: the friend and brilliant legal adviser to Osiris son and heir, Horus. In this essay Boylan makes a thorough examination of references to Thoth in ancient Egyptian literature and ritual, and in the Graeco-Roman literature of the Ptolemaic period, in order to determine the more important phases of Thoths character as conceived by the Egyptians, and to explain the various activities assigned to him in the legends and in the rituals of tomb and temple. The study refers particularly to the early Pyramid texts and The Book of the Dead examining, among other topics, the fusion of local worship of Re-Atum with the theology of Osiris in the Pyramid texts, Thoths symbol of the ibis on a perch, his appearance as a lunar deity, and his functions as the founder of ritual and author of the Divine Books.

Entire Ingo Swann Database

The superpowers of the human biomind are essentially defined as those inherent faculties of our species which transcend time, matter, energy and space in terms of awareness, consciousness and phenomena which are more subtle and illusive. The transcending can be subconscious, subliminal, or conscious -- or, perhaps, superconscious.

Certain aspects of the superpower faculties work spontaneously at times, resulting in many historical and modern anecdotes of such experiencing. It is the long historical record of such experiencing which attests to the factual existence of the indwelling superpower faculties.

There is an important distinction, though, between (1) the spontaneous occurrences, and (2) conscious, cognitive interacting with the superpower faculties. But the historical record of our species shows that various societies tolerant of the superpowers did permit development of various kinds of conscious interacting with them.

While working on government funded projects, beginning in 1973, it became necessary to distinguish new thresholds of understanding. It also became necessary to depart from those concepts of parapsychology and psychical research which had become too generally standardized and a matter of convention rather than of innovative insight.

It was found that many concepts meaningful to the superpowers were being ignored, others were not understood to be relevant, and gaping holes were discovered regarding important information which needed to be filled in. New and innovating understanding was necessary.

What came to be known as remote viewing was the central pillar of the research. But this pillar also served as a developmental core regarding information about all of the other superpowers. The active research lasted for about fifteen years -- after which a new "map" of the superpowers could be drawn.

This map is still tentative, however, because much needs to be added to it, and which many will doubtlessly do as the decades pass on into the future.

As the noble Aldous Huxley might have put it, here, then, is the beginnings of a Brave New World in this database and in the other sections of this site.

In constructing this database, I have elected not to organize it as a whole nor to determine which topics are more important than others. Very many issues need to be considered, and each of which have their firm place within the larger picture of the superpowers.

And since people are different one from the other and have their own intellectual and experiential viewpoints, I've decided to construct this database as an extensive series of topics and essays for those who want to consider them piecemeal and perhaps find some nuance of understanding.

Real understanding is not possible unless information can be integrated. Each essay in this database deals piecemeal with a different topic or subject. But eventually those who read them with interest may begin to see how the many piecemeal topics integrate both in terms of comprehension and of experiencing.

Thanks for accessing this database -- and blessings on you.

Samuel Sagan - Awakening the Third Eye

A step by step method to awaken the third eye and engage spiritual vision. A manual packed with practical information and techniques on clairvoyance, dowsing land energies, psychic sleep, perceiving acupuncture meridians, psychic protection and grounding. The book also presents a number of fundamental principles of the Clairvision work.

About the Author

Born in 1957 in Paris, France, Samuel Sagan began his career life as a medical doctor, gaining further degrees in acupuncture and homeopathy and receiving in 1984 the title of faculty prize winner and a university medal for a medical thesis on subtle bodies and chakras in the Hindu tradition.

While completing his studies, Sagan travelled extensively in India meditating and translating works for Hindu and Taoist masters with whom he studied. He also gained a Doctorate of Divinity from the International Gnostic Church and was nominated for inclusion in Cambridge's International Who's Who of Intellectuals. Moving to Sydney, Australia in 1987, in the interim 12 years he has produced an enormous volume of works centerpiece of which is the inspirational tetralogy - Atlantean Secrets. In that time he has also established a school of meditation and spirituality.

Sagan's writing career (15 books) began in non-fiction, making the transition to fiction with Atlantean Secrets, followed quickly by his sci-fi adventure Bleeding Sun. While Atlantean Secrets is focussed on the demise of the glorious epoch that proceeded our own, Bleeding Sun explores the future of virtual reality, fourth dimension and psychic warfare. All are packed with Sagan's visionary insights and predictions regarding the past and future histories of humanity.

Begun in 1909, it remains one of the definitive works on occultism and magick, while several issues also contain poetry, fiction, plays, artwork, and biographies. IN THE CONTINUUM is a Thelemic periodical, published by the College of Thelema from 1976 through 1996. It features writings by Aleister Crowley which are difficult (or even impossible) to find in print, or which are basic studies in the understanding of Thelemic principles expressed in Liber L. vel Legis.

For over twenty years it has been the leader and standard against which all other Thelemic educational periodicals have been compared. This journal includes basic instructional articles of value to all students of Thelema, and helps to clarify some of the profundities of Crowley's thought. Articles on Qabalah, tarot, magick ritual, basic astrology, the history of Thelema, and other related subjects are included which will assist the student to find his or her own True Will through self-knowledge. There is a regular section on the Qabalistic analysis of various numbers, as well as poetry by Crowley and others.

John Michael Greer - Circles of Power

Despite its popularity, the Golden Dawn system of magic has potentials that are all but untapped. Even the simplest Golden Dawn practices have aspects that have never been brought out in print. This book is the definitive practical handbook on the Cabalistic magic of the Golden Dawn. It goes step-by-step through the entire body of Cabalistic ritual magic, from simple building blocks to powerful advanced techniques.

This is an absolutely first rate book. Greer discusses modern ritual magic from the golden dawn tradition in what is probably the most succinct and informatory book on the subject ever. He covers the major rituals and does what practically no other author does in explaining the why things are done as they are.

Henrik Bogdan - Western Esotericism and Rituals of Initiation

For more than three hundred years the practice of Masonic rituals of initiation has been part of Western culture, spreading far beyond the boundaries of traditional Freemasonry. Henrik Bogdan explores the historical development of these rituals and their relationship with Western esotericism. Beginning with the Craft degrees of Freemasonry--the blueprints, as it were, of all later Masonic rituals of initiation--Bogdan examines the development of the Masonic High Degrees, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn--the most influential of all nineteenth-century occultist initiatory societies--and Gerald Gardner's Witchcraft movement of the 1950s, one of the first large-scale Western esoteric New Religions Movements.

"This is truly an original work on an important subject. The most significant thing is probably the definition of `ritual.' The field of Western esotericism is a young one, and while some of its terminology is now a matter of common consent, ritual has never been subjected to scrutiny in this context. Bogdan also shows how different rituals convey different elements of the Western esoteric tradition: some Freemasonic ritual teaches alchemy; the Golden Dawn teaches Kabbalah; and witchcraft teaches principles of sexual magic. The entire book has an earnestness about it that makes the reader take these rituals seriously." -- Joscelyn Godwin, author of The Real Rule of Four

Samael Aun Weor - The Initiatic Path In The Arcane Of Tarot And Kabbalah

The founder of the International Gnostic Movement and author of over sixty books, the Venerable Samael Aun Weor dedicated his life to delivering the Gnostic Teachings to humanity. His message has spread to every continent on the planet, inspiring millions to work toward the Self-realization of the Being. For more information, visit

In this cornerstone work, Samael Aun Weor explains in clear terms the entire basis of all esoteric work: Kabbalistic symbology. This is the language of the Internal Worlds.

This book is no mere repetition of what others have written: it is the direct experience of the author. This revolutionary work examines the Tarot and Kabbalah as never before, with brilliant revelations about the mysterious sphere of Daath, whose true nature was never before discussed publically.

1. Description and Study of the Esoteric Tarot
2. Initiation through the Arcana of the Tarot

R.J.Stewart - The Underworld Initiation: A journey towards psychic transformation (Celtic Muth & Legend, V. 3)

This stimulating and important study provides evidence for a potent transformative tradition within the esoteric consciousness of the West. Drawing on material from hitherto disregarded sources, RJ. Stewart reconstructs the key to a true understanding of Western esoteric lore, suggesting that the bulk of so-called Western occultism is an intellectual fabrication derived mainly from nineteenth-century sources. The authentic magical tradition of the west, the author claims, is concerned with the UnderWorld Initiation, a powerful system of altering consciousness in a dynamic and far-reaching manner, the central symbols of which survive in songs and ballads whose roots are in the Celtic and pre-Celtic past.

Among the subjects covered are:

* the non-Qabalistic Tree of Life
* the emasculating role of psychology in esoteric studies
* the Summoning of Ancestors
* the Dark Queen and the Seer
* the Tongue that Cannot Lie

Lon Milo Duquette - The Key to Solomon's Key

Sketching out a fascinating network of historic figures, cults, and Christendom, this book by an occult-studies expert and respected authority on magic and sorcery takes Western spiritual traditions seriously—but examines them with common sense and self-effacing humor. Working backward from the Freemasons to one of their original orders, the 14th-century Knights Templar, the account considers sorcery, heresy, and intrigues; explores the legend that the Knights possessed a powerful secret dangerous to the Church of Rome; and finds an essential clue to the order's practices in their connection to the biblical Solomon, king of Israel in the 10th century BC.

Hermes Trismegistus - The Divine Pymander (printed in 1650)

Within these pages lies a gold mine of wisdom. The author, Hermes Trismegistus, may not have been a single personage, but the information here is both illuminating and highly relevant. These teachings have been often referred to by the greatest philosophers of Greece and the Church Fathers of Christianity. Tertullian and Justin Martyr once stated that if anyone wanted to learn about God, they should listen to Hermes. He likely lived in Alexandria, and was influenced by early Christian and Gnostic ideas. The most influential work of hermetic/occult literature.

Nema na čemu, johnny.

Evo dodao sam još ove klasike okultne literature:

Book of Lambspring (1607)

This poem was first printed in Nicolas Barnaud, Triga chemica: de lapide philosophico tractatus tres..., Leiden 1599, but without illustrations. This was reprinted in volume III of the Theatrum Chemicum, 1602. It was issued by Lucas Jennis three times in 1625 with a series of 15 emblems. The three books issued were Dyas chymica tripartita, the Musaeum hermeticum, and De lapide philosophico.

The Book of Lambspring is a short work with an introductory section in verse and an emblem showing a threefold furnace. Following the tradition of emblem books of the period its series of fifteen emblems each bears a motto or title with a verse on the facing page. The Book of Lambspring is a work of spiritual alchemy, has few references to physical alchemical processes, and it seems unlikely that it could ever have provided any clues that might help someone engaged upon physical experimentation. Instead, it is a clear, powerful and extremely useful statement of the inner work of the spiritual alchemist. Its verses point to the soul and spirit involved in the alchemical transformation and its fifteen emblems are evocative symbols of these inner processes.

John Dee - Monas Hieroglyphica (1564)

This is John Dee's enigmatic treatise on symbolic language. Although published in 1564 at age 37, he considered it valuable throughout his life. The Monas is a highly esoteric work. In it he claims himself in possession of the most secret mysteries. He wrote it in twelve days while apparently in a peak (mystical) state: “[I am] the pen merely of [God] Whose Spirit, quickly writing these things through me, I wish and I hope to be.” He claims it will revolutionize astronomy, alchemy, mathematics, linguistics, mechanics, music, optics, magic, and adeptship.

The Monas Hieroglyphica (or Hieroglyphic Monad) is an esoteric symbol invented and designed by John Dee, the Elizabethan Magus and Court Astrologer of Elizabeth I of England. It is also the title of the 1564 book in which Dee expounds the meaning of his symbol.

The Hieroglyphic embodies Dee's vision of the unity of the Cosmos and is a composite of various esoteric and astrological symbols. Dee wrote a commentary on it which serves as a primer of its mysteries. However, the obscurity of the commentary is such that it is believed that Dee used it as a sort of textbook for a more detailed explanation of the Hieroglyph which he would give in person. In the absence of any remaining detail of this explanation we may never know the full significance of the Glyph.

Wayland Skallagrimsson - Scientific Magic

Recent discoveries in the fields of neurobiology and psychology have opened up new avenues of exploration into and explanation of the practice of magic, a field hitherto resistant to scientific analysis, due to the highly subjective nature of its practices. I have formulated hypotheses to explain the particular claims made by magicians as to the effectiveness of their rituals, as well as why such practices continue even in rational, materialistic societies skeptical and dismissive of them. I have presented traditional magical lore side by side with scientific explanations for that lore, as well as analyses of relevant philosphical issues. I have also provided a course of instruction designed to take the student through basic initiation in the practices of magic to proficiency in them. I have presented two traditional systems of magical practice (runic and cabalistic), from two rather different cultures, and compared them for the purpose of finding commonalities that would indicate the presence of real, analysable phenomena, divorced from simple cultural prejudices and superstitions. Hypotheses were formed from looking at these commonalities in the light of the results of the new neurobiological and psychological discoveries. I used my own experiences as well as those of other practicing magicians as a data pool. The practice of magic is no mere superstition or escapist fantasy. It is instead a badly misunderstood, embryonic science dealing with reprogramming the mind and altering the state of physiology to improve the functionality of its practitioners in highly specific and unusual ways. Contrary to the standard views of most modern sciences, the only differences between commonly accepted scientific understandings and occult lore are philosophical in nature. The seeming antagonism between the two schools of thought are rooted in a misunderstanding of each other's basic philosophies and languages. The practice of magic is a real phenomenon, though poorly understood, with real benefits to its practitioners.

Iamblichus - Theurgia or The Egyptian Mysteries Reply of Abammon, the Teacher to The Letter of Porphyry to Anebo together with Solutions of the Questions Therein Contained

Iamblichus (c. A.D. 250-325) is among the most important of the so-called Neoplatonic philosophers, second only to Plotinus. He was a student of Plotinus' disciple Porphyry. His influential treatise Theurgia, or On the Mysteries of Egypt deals with a 'higher magic' which operates through the agency of the gods. Agrippa refers frequently to Iamblichus in his Occulta Philosophia. Iamblichus also had a strong influence on other Renaissance occultists like Ficino, Pico della Mirandola, and Giordano Bruno. Iamblichus is also explicitly mentioned in the Grimorium Verum.

Jack987 je napisao/la:

Hvala puno, Jack987!
