Što je ta... samospoznaja?
Što je to? I kako se tamo stiže?
Što ako, za početak... ona nije neko "tamo"? Ona je "tuda". Pa tek onda "tamo".
Pjesma će morati dostajati: neka to bude jedna Vesne Parun, ona ju je nazvala Baklja.

Sve što je moje u zemaljskoj glazbi,
nemir drveća, teški sklad ravnice,
tišina koja o čelo se razbi
i šumna svjetlost zvijezde izdajnice,

sve što se valom moje noći hrani
i budnoj mi o kamen krvi tuče,
o prag je neki udaralo davni
glasom mora, pjesmom što jauče.

I kad sav nataloženi jad
ko baklja šikne uvis, naglog milja
prostruji topla nit; moj duh se sjeti

ganuća ljubavi. Bezutješno tad
prepoznam, puna božanskoga smilja,
jutarnju pticu što mi snom preleti.
